Based on statistics, as of March 2017, there are already 2.8 million apps in Google Play and 2.2 million apps in Apple’s App Store. That’s a lot of competition out there, and that’s one reason on why you need to have a good design so you can get the chance for your app to be downloaded. Here are some more reasons:
- An app with a good design attracts more attention.
- Having a good design on your app makes it more competitive with the other apps in the market.
- Aside from functionality, app users also look for uniqueness in the app which can be expressed in its design.
- A good design can convey the value and benefits on an app.
I believe that App Development requires great ideas, marketing strategies and good design because, in the long run, they will build your brand and keep up with the competition. So in this world full of creative ideas for design, one should always strive to be unique and the perfect one for an app.
